what processor are you currently using ?
the most powerful chip you can install is Phenom II X6 1100T 6 core , although it is a very old chip by todays standards .
what do you need it for ? gaming or working ? also what gpu and power supply are you using ?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Might I ask what processor you're currently working with, i.e, paired with that motherboard?

well you will not see much gain in performance :
phenoms II X4 were the fastest gaming processors from AMD back in the day , 1100T has more cores but lower clock speeds
(of course you can also overclock it)
2 extra cores might help you in some workload scenarios (but not by much - since it is a very old architecture) .
also those old phenom processors lack some modern instructions
so some games like for example cyberpunk or red dead redemption 2 will not even run on it .

you should start thinking about building a new system for both work and gaming purposes .

to the OP.

that cpu is almost on the same level as the intel Core 2 Quads. Better to buy an entirely new system if you want to fully enjoy newer games.
just keep the old pc for backups. :)
