Recently got an asus AC-2400, and it gives my pc 0.2-0.8mbps, but on my phone, it gets a max of 32mbps(which I think is max for a phone?{Samsung S3})

On a wired connection I usually get around 100-150mbps

Why is this happening?
I have updated drivers, had no problems before the new router.

Info:
AC-2400
Returned twice, third one, same exact problem.

Generic wifi card that was included with asus desktop(will pull out of mobo, and take photo if needed)

Xfinity>Cable>Modem>Router

I have both phone and pc on 2.4GHz band.

I changed channels around, but if the channel was the problem, why would my phone have fast speeds.

I really don't know what else to include, ask away and I shall help you help me 😀

I get that even a n150 card, hell even a wireless G card should get better then a fraction of 1mbps.

I only said about it not being dual band because you said that you had a wireless AC router. Using a n150 card for an AC router is a huge waste.

If wired works fine but wireless is crap, and other wireless devices work just fine then the card is likley the issue. This is why i suggested to first try drivers, otherwise try replaceing the card.

Okay, i plugged a wire into it from my router and its still just as slow, but from the modem, blazing fast.

Looked it up, and its a WMM setting i need to turn off... but i cant find it in my Asus routers settings 🙁

yes, now i reran all the wires throughout my house and im connected directly to the modem, and still slow internet speed.
I replaced wifi card, and i even removed it(because now im wired)

im getting (130mbps Download) & (12mbps Upload) from a computer on a 6ft cat5e and (2mbps Download) & (12mbps Upload) from my computer on a 50ft cat6

occassionally ill get 120-130 on my computer, which never happened with the wifi box(wire/wireless, tried both on router), but now does with the wired, but as we speak i have 2mbps Download, and about 15min ago i had 130mbps download on my computer

Is there a setting i might have turned on/off in the process of tring to fix my first problem?

with wifi i never got above 2mbps, but with the wire(regardless of what wire i use) i get .8-6mbps sometimes, and i get 130mbps other times.

i tested if it was just when i turned it on, but ive gotten mixed results when starting it up.
