Question 0 byte data transfer

Just format my new HDD,and when I copy any data into it,it got 0 byte transfer rate

No error,I can only create new folder

I just know that my transfer rate is 20Mbps for a second,so I think I can copy any file that below 20mb size

Asrock 770-icafe
Rx 480 8gb ddr5
1x internal hdd 160gb
1x external hdd 1tb (the one that error)
1x external hdd 300gb

Already tried to swap the external case,and still got the problem

unplug all the other external and just test the one with the error?

make and model of the hdd?
do they have health test from the manufacturer?
could return it since it is new.

See if you can fully format the drive. I'm thinking you can't because the drive has physical issues but the controller board is working and waiting for the heads to do the work.

Samsung model ST1000LM024. I tried 2 times formating it,no fixed. Did I do something wrong with the format?

I think they do,and this hdd working fine for a couple of weeks.And sad news they can't replace with a new one.
