Hello All,
I have been a long time reader and I have officially run out of places to look.
I have had a laptop for some time now. Originally I could play a bunch of games at max (or near max) setting and still get 50+ FPS. Recently, even the most basic games have a drop in FPS. I installed GPU-Z and noticed I have 2 video cards: GTX 870M and Intel HD.
While playing a game, I get these situations
Were the GPU is especially "off" while the Intel is running strong. I have the latest drivers, I have reinstalled the drivers for both Intel and NVIDIA (clean), I have done everything I can think of and search for on the internet.
I event went as far a disabling Intel HD from my computer manager, it works great! But if I try and open NVIDIA control panel it says "you are not currently using a display attached to an nvidia gpu" and I cant change any setting.
Thank you for all your help in advanced!!
