0 key doesn't work but strangely gets autopressed while in log screen

The 0 key of my laptop is not working but strangely when I try to login into my laptop then a long serial code of 000000's appear in the password tab.

Pls help.

I own an Asus 1015e.

if its pressed then u cant use it, u should clean contacts, there could be something like old juice

If there is something under the key and it closes the circuit then for the computer it is pressed,that's probably why it keeps spamming zeroes to your password.
You will have to take apart your keyboard and clean it.
