0 space on hard drive

note: im not very familiar with computers and i got my friend to help build it for me so i will need everything simplified

i recently just built a new PC and i was trying to install windows 10 trough a USB however its says there is 0 space on my hard drive and i cant seem to get it to work? also everything in download to hard drive area is greyed out and i cant click on anything

Can you please share a screenshot where you are stuck with the drive issue? It looks like the hard drive doesn't have any partition to install Windows 10 on.

Extremely sorry for the delayed response.

Looks like either your drive is faulty, or it has been formatted using a file system that Windows doesn't recognize.

Starting Windows In Command Prompt, running the DISKPART command to clean the entire disk, and then re-creating the partitions during the Windows' setup might help.
