007: Bloodstone retail DVD install on Windows 10?

I purchased the retail copy of the James Bond 007: Bloodstone game at Gamestop for a sale price. I've been reading articles on how games with SecuROM are not compatible with Windows 10 due to security loopholes. I do have a Windows 8.1 drive I could install this to, but there are rumors that the latest security updates render SecuROM games incompatible with Windows 8.1. Has anyone had any issues installing SecuROM retail games on Windows 8.1 or even Windows 10? Or am I stuck having to get Windows 7 for those games? I don't mind a 3-way boot setup, but I don't want to buy Windows 7 unless I have to.
