Hello, I have been planning to upgrade my Dell OptiPlex 780 Small Form Factor, with Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit, 2GB RAM. I want to add 4GB to it, this is the memory I want to buy: CT2367698 from Crucial, Crucial says my MAX memory is 16GB, but Dell's specs site says just 8GB, I would like to know if the MAX is 16 GB or 8 GB, and if my motherboard 03NVJ6 will accept that memory stick, Thanks!

well one of the reviews says "Worked perfectly in my Dell Optiplex 780 SFF with Win 10 Pro 64bit. Be sure to upgrade your BIOS to A15 before installing."

so if you trust the reviews I would guess so. like I said its hard to say for sure because it only list the max speed supported but based of the verified buyer saying it will work on that model I would say its pretty safe it supports the slower speed profile you need.
http://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_desktop/esuprt_optiplex_desktop/optiplex-780_service%20manual3_en-us.pdf is this your motherboard manual or did you list the wrong form factor? http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/optiplex-780/manuals the different forms factors.

if so it stay it supports 16gb 4-4gb sticks ddr 3 1067mhz

if so then then that memory from crucial might not be compatible as its listed as 1600mhz default (it still might work at lower speeds but I would not buy unless you can return it if it doesn't work)

I have the small form factor, my pc didn't come with any manual, It was a gift for me, and if that crucial on wouldn't work, then which one should?

That manual apparently is from my small form factor..

Is there any way I can confirm it works?
