Not been manufactured for 3 years or more.

A new one is massively unlikely.

What's the obsession with a gtx 970?

Its old and performance wise it's fairly lacklustre for newer titles.
Medium 1080p is about where its at.

Unless you can get one cheap (which is unlikely), its a gpu I wouldn't even consider.
