0x00000001 on hp printer

Hello,
I have been using the same printer and laptop for ages now and suddenly today I am getting an error message 0x00000001 when I attempt to print the test page after re-installing printer

Try reloading the driver software -- if it's anything like the two HPs I tried installing recently you end up totally confused.
