So recently i have been getting a BSOD whenever i play a game. That happened about once in a day. But now about a 2 hours or so ago, my PC was on Sleep mode. After i pressed a key on my keyboard to wake it up it just didn't do anything. The screen was just blank. I heard my HDD spinning so i know there was activity going on in windows.
I restarted my PC and tried heading to windows. But it doesn't let me now. I get to the windows loading animation thingy, but then after it completes it crashes to BSOD with the same error that i had when i was gaming. BSOD 0x116. The cause was because of Atikmpag.sys.
To add more to it. The BSOD did not auto restart but it went away, with no activity on my HDD. I restarted the PC manually and it worked. I tried to load up windows again just to double check the same thing is going on and yes, same thing happened.
So i restarted manually again, went on to Safe-Mode with networking. It worked, i booted in windows. It instantly showed me that it recovered from shut down.
I proceeded to google the error. And i found out that it is caused by timeout. What instantly came to my mind is that this could be cause by the OC i had on my card (HD 6670). But the problem is that i can't change the clock speed on Safe-mode. So i uninstalled my drivers completely. And i succesfully booted in the normal windows after that. I installed the latest Stable omega drivers. Same thing happened with the BSOD even on newly installed drivers. Does it not reset the Clock speed on driver reinstall?
I've uploaded latest minidump to Tinyuploads.
