0x0000008e error

Hello,
when I am using my dvd writer,as the tray is going into the burner,I sometimes get a instant power down of the pc as if the mains switch is switched off,I have replaced the dvd burner allready.

Does it power off even before the tray is fully closed? If so, did you replace the power cable and/or the Sata or IDE cable? Why the 0x0000008e in the title?
