Vista is causing me no end of problems. I must confess, part of it is my own fault. I can't install SP 1 on my PC and error code it throws out is 0x8007002. I've tried countless "solutions" to the problem but none of them work.

When I try to play a DVD I get "application not found".

I think you need to cut your loses and format and start again

When I place the Vista CD in the drive, I get "application fot found". Is there another way to format?

put it in when your computer is booting
