0x80070035 , “ The network path not found ”

I am using a laptop with windows 7 ultimate SP1.

I have 3 users in my laptop, I am trying share a folder to other user in my laptop only.

While I am sharing the folder I am providing read/write permission to the user, Now I am opening the network to see the content in it. Here the folder is showing, but If I open the folder, it is not opening.

It is giving " windows cannot access the folder \\ folder path" alert.

Error is : 0x80070035 , " The network path not found ".

what to do. I have tried solutions like

--> Making firewall off

--> All advanced sharing options on

Please give me a solution for my problem.

You may be confused about sharing things on the network vs. just giving other user accounts rights to your files.

Just create a shortcut to those files after you make sure file and folder permissions are setup for the users, and copy the shortcut to either the C:\ drive so they can all get to it, or to the Desktop of the users.
