hello all
ok i am looking for a new gaming rig and was wanting to see what kind of build you guys would build for the money. game's i play are wow and thats about it :pt1cable: so you build it i buy it
thank you all for taking the time to read this

o and i need a monitor too have $300 for that put aside so it's $1,000 $1,200 for the rig and $300 for a monitor

Do you have any components that you already own that you will use in this build? Do you need mouse/keyboard/operating system as well? And I am assuming we are dealing with USD...if not then please specify where you are and where you will shop from.

Assuming you don't need any other peripherals and just the tower and OS, here is how I would do it:
GPU: MSI GTX 275 OC and free COD game
Case: Antec 300
MB/CPU: P6T and i7 920 combo deal
PSU: OCZ StealthXStream 600w
Ram: G Skill PI Silver 6GB DDR3 1600
HDD: WD6401AALS
Optical Drive: LG DVD Sata Combo drive
OS: Windows Vista 64bit
Cooler: Xigmatek S1283V DK
That is like $1230, so a little over budget. You can cut back a bit on the MB to a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R and save about $50 there using that combo instead, that should put you in budget.

On the monitor, you can get a pretty nice one for under $300, like these and then put the savings there towards the rest of the build
