I am looking to build a new PC around Black Friday, and I chose these parts.
I do not know if they are compatible and those such, so could you guys help a brother out?

Here's what I got.

Also, would I have to get a sound card? Or is there already on board sound?

I already got the mouse, keyboard, and speakers down.

So far good suggestions but you're way overpaying for the case and there's no point in purchasing a 560TI anymore. No point in purchasing a sound card either - the onboard audio will handle everything just fine.

You'll get an SSD and a 7950 as well as a future proofed system.

Although I understand your Nvidia bias. AMD cards are simply better at the moment. Only a fool would argue otherwised. Especially after pushing your graphics card, the AMD cards beat out all the Nvidia cards within its price range.

It's tough to recommend Nvidia card ( bang for buck wise) over AMD at the moment.

For example that 560ti is the ~same price as a radeon hd 7850. But the 7850 is not only 1 generation up it also a whole tier up on the performance chart.

I You really must have nvidia then the 660 ti is the ~same price as the 7950

I include the 7950 because it's currently the best bang for buck GPU on the market - the 660TI comes close but the 7950 is far superior for the same price.

No, the i7 is overrated, it is not even close to needed in gaming. The i5 benches similarly there, maybe in multi-threading you need it but even then you'll have to do some heavy rendering or mult-threading to notice the difference.

No - games are far more reliant on the GPU than the CPU these days. Spend more on the GPU and less on the CPU.

I'm debating myself whether to get the GTX 670 or the HD 7950. I'll be gaming on one screen, so the 3 gb on the 7950 won't be a big factor. I looked at some reviews on the 7950, it doesn't come as far as the 670. What do you guys think of this?

The GTX 670 fails to compare to the 7950 of a lower cost. The 7970 even beats it out at the same price point with no competition, specially not from the GTX 680 clock for clock that is.
