Putting together a new desktop for a family member. Building to last as along as possible - may one day be re-purposed to an older gaming machine. I like the idea of sticking with NVIDIA for the gfx card as CUDA is/could be useful given the nature of the box. This will be a home drafting box, so no need for Quadro, etc.
Do all these parts jive together? Any better options?
Would it be worth looking into SSD caching and a smaller HDD?
