Hey, I need help on building up a gaming computer, my budget is around 1,000$ US.

Here are the parts I need:

-Motherboard - I would like to have an ASUS since I heard those are one of the best atm, but idk which 🙁
-CPU (Processor) - (Intel, i5 or i7, which one is better, both performance and $$ wise) Don't really need a cooling fan since the CPU has it's own.
-RAM Memory - (2 of 4GB, a total of 8GB Corsair - Plan on upgrading in the future)
-Video Card - (Preferably a GTX)
-Power Supply - I don't know about this, haha.

If the parts are available on Amazon, I will appreciate it, thanks!

I have a CD-Room and the rest of the stuff like keyboard, case, etc...

Will be waiting for your replies, thanks!

I strongly encourage you to wait a few days. The new Intel processors are coming out on the 3rd of June, and are supposed to be a fairly significant upgrade.

Edit: Also, to address the rest of the post, ASRock and Gigabyte also make quite good motherboards, and should also be considered. ASUS is an excellent brand however. The i5 is superior for gaming (or, more accurately, equal and cheaper), something which will still hold true with Haswell. You definitely need a cooler if you plan to overclock, but do not otherwise.
