I just bought a 1.2GHz tbird and a KT7A-Raid. I read I would need to connect the L1 bridges with a pencil and then change the multiplier settings to run the thing at 133MHz FSB. Well, I was looking at my chip, and it appears the L1 Bridges are already connected? I'm not seeing things, am I? Do I have a class C processor? Do the 1.2GHz come with the bridges pre-connected? Does anyone know what I'm talking about, do I sound accurate, etc...?? Also if I try and change the multiplier settings from 100 to 133, and in actuallatity my L1 Bridges are not connected, will I hurt anything? What will happen?
Thanks, please answer I want to get building ASAP!

I would read the numbers on the cpu and compare them to toms codes in the tbird review. Make sure you really have a 1.2 not an oc'ed tbird.

Apparently, some new athlon processors already have the bridges closed. Check out www4.tomshardware.com/howto/01q1/010115/pcsystem-04.html
Are the bridges closed from manufacturer, or is it a lead pencil that has been used? This would guarantee if your processor is original.
