$1,200 Dollar PC Build. Is it any good? What would you change?

I am looking to build a new gaming pc and I have just over $1,000 dollars to spend. Here is an initial build that I put together. I was wondering if I could get some input on the components that I have chosen and if there are any recommendation that anyone had.

If OC isn't important, try to cheap on CPU and mobo, and get a GTX 970, the best deal for gaming

You don't need at all a 750W PSU, only for SLI

This build is mainly for gaming, but I will be using it for some other uses such as some editing.

It still be 50$ of difference between my rig and your rig, you can use this money to buy an i5 4690, or an FX 8350, which is better for editing apps (Mainly 3D and encoding)
