Can anyone confirm that this computer will be able to run modern games (ex. BF4, LoL, For Honour, Wildlands Ghost Recon) at 1080p at 60 fps on medium graphics? Also that all the parts will for sure be compatible? Thanks :)

Here's the build:

You don't need an aftermarket HSF and Z97 motherboard for a locked CPU. Also, adding an SSD boot drive will dramatically improve Windows performance.

Ah, the monitor threw me for a second.

Motherboard is a little more future proof in that it supports SLI and matches your red memory and red GPU. Better quality power supply as well.

A GTX970 with an i5 is more then enough for FHD gaming at 60FPS in most titles. You should be able to set things quite a bit higher then Medium for a good while.

1080 on Medium with an i5 and a 970 GTX? For BF4 and Lol, you'll be able to do Ultra and achieve 60 FPS. As for the other two, the games were just announced and I wasn't able to find specs for them. However, I'm sure you'll do fine with both those games where medium setting being the minimum you'll be able to play.

Change the PSU and you're done.

Ok, good to know, as I was unsure about needing a cooling system for a locked CPU. Thank you for the tip on the SSD :)

Also, will I be in need of an optical drive to set up a windows OS. In other words, is there any way of installing it without a disk?
