Question 1.91 GB Useable

I have an HP Filestream that has 4gigs of RAM an a 32gig eMMC drive

It was originally running the 64bit version of Windows 10 but it was very sluggish

When I looked at the CPU usage it was almost always running at 80% to 100% CPU usage

Even when the processor was running at 100% CPU usage I was still able to go from web page to web page but it just wasn't... smooth (was kind of... choppy and sluggish)

Re-install the OS over and over again did not help

Someone told me use the 32bit version of Windows 10 as it would

I wasn't sure this would help as I've read a number of message forum postings where different people have made the comment that there is no difference in performance between the 32bit and 64bit OS's

I also have a desktop PC running the 64bit version of Windows 10 Home and it runs very fast (very smooth)

Although that's not a good comparison as the HP Stream processor is a low power low end kind of processor and the processor in my desktop is a Quad Core with 8gig of RAM

But I tried it anyway and WOW! what a difference

After installing the 32bit version of Windows 10 Home on my HP Stream, the HP Steam runs so well it's like having a new computer!
No freezing or hanging
It is so smooth (as I move from web page to web page)
And when I look at the performance monitor the CPU is hardly being touched

But I now have a new problem

When I was running the 64bit version of Windows 10 Home it showed 4gigs from RAM

But since installing the 32bit version of Windows 10 Home, it shows there is only 1.91 GB of "usable" memory

For example, "Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (1.91 GB usable)"
