2x Samsung 840 EVO 1TB

Hi guys

My question is: Whether it is possible to use a single drive 860 as my main drive and then use the two 840s in Raid 0 for my games and storage?
When I select Raid mode in my BIOS and configure the 2 Samsung 840s, I can't boot from my 860 which is in AHCI mode. I would like to avoid using the software way if possible. Can I use a the single 860 if I set it up as a single Array?

Solution
Asus or MSI? - Both have boards names B450 Gaming Plus.
You have 2 sata controllers on those boards. One for 2 of the ports from the CPU and the Chipset controls the remaining 4.
Try putting the AHCI on the other ports. (sata 5 or 6) Would probably/might work.
