Hi, can I use one external (1 TB) as backup for a laptop and for a desktop computer?
I have a lot of pictures on a large flash drive and recently read that flash drives tend to fail after a while.
So, I like to back them up to an external hard drive. If I get a 1+ TB hard drive, I hope to be able to use it as a back up for other files on both computers.
Is this possible? This is probably a very simple question but I haven't been able to find any answer to it.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Yes of course you can do that there are no limitations,
just dont forget to create 2 different folders inside of your external hard disk.
One folder for your Desktop computer and one other for your laptop.

Oh, I forgot to mention that both computers are fairly new and run on Win7...
