Hello.
I have one external RAIDON GR5630-WSB3+(4bay 3.5" RAID SafeTANK) HDD: ( http://www.raidon.com.tw/RAIDON2016/product.php?id=19 ) and 2 computers.
The HDD is connected to one computer trough eSATA and to the other computer trough USB 3.0.
eSATA takes priority and when i want to use the HDD for the USB computer i simply unplug the eSATA. if i want to use the HDD with the eSATA computer i simply plug it back in.
My question is: is there an easier way to "share" or "switch" the HDD between the 2 computers? Because unplugging and plugging back the cable every time is rather... difficult / time consuming / etc.
EDIT: Using network "tricks" does not work since the eSATA computer is not allowed to connect to a network or to be connected to the USB computer in a network. Both of them should be considered "unavailable for networking".
Thank you in advance.
