My dual fan R9 380 has only 1 fan spinning and the other one does not. I have tested it and even when my gpu hits 80 °C its still not starting to spin. I have replaced my old psu with a new corsair hx650w psu and it still doesnt spin. I seriously have no clue what it could be except a dead fan.
Wanted to open the gpu up so i can take a better look but im a bit scared ill break it as i dont have a replacement.

Here are the specs:

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

CPU
AMD FX-6300 - 27 °C

RAM
8,00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 801MHz (11-11-11-28)

Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. GA-78LMT-S2P (Socket M2)

Graphics
Philips FTV (1920x1080@59Hz)
Generic Non-PnP Monitor (1280x1024@60Hz)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 380 Series (XFX Pine Group) - 45 °C

All temps are at idle.

Yup, sounds like a dead fan to me. Are you outside the two-year warranty window? The 380s were released just over two years ago and the XFX 380 has, I believe, a two-year warranty, so if you didn't buy it right away, you may still be in the window to RMA it.

Other than that, your best option without opening up the GPU is to run a more aggressive fan profile with your one remaining fan and see if that's able to slow down the temperature increase enough while gaming.

Yes, im out of the warranty window. I also don't have a clue how it could have happened. I have never overclocked the card or my CPU. i guess i'll just need to buy a new card, take a more aggresive curve or try and open it up(only when i get a replacement probably, just to see if i can still save it)

Thanks for your time and help.
