1 inch border around Monitor

I recently bought a computer bundled with a monitor and the monitor looked fine out of the box. When I turned it on, I noticed about 1 inch black space between the edge of the monitor and the lit up screen. The monitor is the Acer P246HLAbd (UM.FP6AA.A01) , widescreen 24" and 1920 x 1080, using HDMI cable and my graphics card is r7 260x. Any solutions?

Try this - Right click - screen resolution - advanced settings. then find your graphics card settings and look for scaling. Adjust the scaling until the black box is gone.

In catalyst control center - change the scaling options.

Ok I had it on a different resolution because it looked better with the border, but I changed it back to the highest and the scaling option was there and I fixed it, Thanks for trying to answer my question though.
