1 long 2 short beeps. 2 different cards.

i just switched my case. to a 330r. now i cant boot the computer. i tried 2 different cards. and its always the same thing 1 long 2 short beeps. like 3 weeks ago i had the same problem. i couldnt boot for a few days trying everything. then all of the sudden i put my gpu into the slot and it booted. dont know what changed.. the time that it worked i kinda nudged the pcie express slot a bit.just kinda pushing on it.. then put the gpu in and it worked.. dont get it ?

ga-z68x-ud3p-b3 1155 and one of the pcie slots is broken so im using the main one... but even though the other is broken it worked fine before i switched cases

1 long 2 short is a memory issue. Take all the RAM out and try each one in turn till you find the fault.

wow it worked.. took some memory out and it finally worked. i rearanged them until i could use them all.. but again i got the error when i was already into windows. is it that i dont arrange them right or is one of them faulty ?

My two cents: I would assume that your board is faulty before the memory modules, if for no other reason that one of your PCIe boards is broken. Makes me wonder about their being a short.

well its broken because i broke it off ... its all the way broken off....
