Since I know little about PC's, the beeps didn't alarm me at all, but after a friend of mine told me that it might mean that there's some sort of problem, I started looking it up. Seems like it could be a problem with Hard Drives, but everything seems fine. The PC boots up fast and works just fine. What could it mean in this case?

For legacy beep codes, 1 long/3 short beeps for an Award BIOS means a memory failure while for an AMI BIOS it's a video card failed to detect.

Hard to say anything more without knowing more about your system as it may not even have either BIOS.
