Hi guys,

So i have new case. I just take my hardware from the old case and put it to the new one. Now i'm getting error 1 long, 3 short beeps. Monitor says "cable not connected".

My mobo is Asus p8p67 LE.

All cables are connect. I tried another graphic card, second PCI, reset BIOS via jumper and battery, reconnect all RAMs... nothing.

Please help.

Yep Suggest you remove all of your ram sticks slotted into the motherboard.

And fit just one, making sure you apply pressure via each thumb to each end of the memory stick. and then finish off by pressing in the center of the stick making sure both locking tabs are in the locked position.

Also check your manual on where the sticks should be placed and in each memory slot of the motherboard based on how many ram sticks you can have, it can prevent a board from booting if you place then in the wrong set in some cases board dependent.

You can get a bios beep code chain or error also when your Pci-e based card is not detected so double check the card is seated flushly in the Pci-e slot of the board.
Also check for any drop in the card down over, unscrew and lift the card up holding it up over while you tighten the screw on the retaining bracket of the card.

Aslo double check you eight pin 12v E-ATX is connected from the power supply to your motherboard.
And depending on the graphics card you have that all 12v Pci-e power connectors direct from the PSU are connected to the back or side edge of the card.

I tried different RAMs into the different slots... still same.

I also checked GPU and other connectors... still same.

Hello, have you found the solution? I have the same problem right now... I tried everything everyone has said and it doesnt work, I also bought another RAM stick and it stil doesn't work.
