Hello,
I have tested each of my two RAM sticks individually (Part# CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16) on each DIMM slot for dual channel on my motherboard (Slot 2 & 4) and come up with 0 errors after 4/4 passes using memtest86 WITHOUT XMP enabled.
The problem arises when I enable XMP, then when I test the sticks together, I always get 1 error on Test 4 after 4/4 passes. Is there something wrong with the RAM, the XMP setting, or the motherboard slots? Or even possibly something wrong with the voltage?
I have a feeling that one error is causing an occasional crash on my PC that occurs maybe once or twice every two weeks.
Specs for reference:
