Question 1 monitor + 1 TV

Hi,

I have Dell Alienware AW3420DW plus TV LG OLED 48C24LA. Monitor is connected to an Asus RTX 3090 OC via displayport. The TV is connected to the same videocard with an HDMI 2.1 cable.

I would like to have my TV as a second monitor for games while I am working on the first monitor. Both are identified and expanded option is ON, but I cannot not see anything in the TV. Also moving the mouse outside the first monitor doesn't bring me to the second one at the right side. The TV only says "waiting for sinal" because the TV cable is not connected.

Also HDR from the TV cannot be switched on, and refresh rate only goes to 60 Hz, which is strange because the TV can also handle 120 Hz.

Suggestions to solve this issues?

Quite a number of configuration options available:

You may need to configure the TV's HDMI port as the active input port or make some other change from the default values.

So, it is not just plug and play, plus expand monitors in my pc?

How I do that?

By the way, I cannot open the second link. It says insecure...

Already tried the snipping tool. The result is the same... The colours of the screenshot are completely different than the image itself. It didn't happen with the monitor. Only with the TV which is now the second monitor...

Anyone to help?

Try a different HDMI cable.

It is a new one with 2 days... I also can set the TV as only monitor to see what happens.
