1 of 3 computers can't connect to the Internet

Just did a windows xp repair with the windows xp disc and now the computer will not connect to the Internet.
I have 2 other laptops connected to this 2wire AT&T dsl modem but whenever I bring up ie explored or Mozilla firefox on the desktop computer it says it can't find the server and won't connect.

Pls help!

Look in the device manager to see if there is a conflict on your ethernet device. If yes, go to your motherboard manufacturer's website, and download the driver.
