Hello dear friends I'm stuck with a tiny problem:

i need to separate my network in 2 : one for private use(A network), the other one for public Internet access ( B network). But both sides should be able to print on the same printer.

Could you please explain me how create a network topology that I need.

Thank you very much

very best regards

Solution
The simplest way is to just add a second router behind the main router. Put the printer on the main router and it can but used by both networks. You would connect all your private users to the second router. The users on the second router can access anything on the first router including the printer and the internet but it prevents users from the main network from seeing your private network.

The only thing that can be tricky is you must assign a different IP block to the lan port of the second router than the main router is using. You will also have to print to the printer via its IP address it will not show up in the simple network neighbor.
