1 stick of RAM worked for first boot, but what about adding the rest?

I have a new build, my second one. MSI M Powered Gaming z270 Titanium mobo
4 identical CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 DRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)

Intel Core i7-7700 Kaby Lake Quad-Core 3.6 GHz LGA 1151 65W BX80677I77700

Powered up, all 4 were in there, all the fans were running fine, no display.

Reseated the ram, swapped out 1 and 2, still same problem.

Finally tried with just one stick, and it booted no problem.

So can I just add the other 3 after the initial boot? Or what's the next step? The 1st slot double clicks but its a little harder to get it to seat right than the other three....

You cannot add ram once the PC is on.

is there physical damage on any of the slots?

I would test each individual stick of ram, make sure they all work. if they all work, try testing with 2 sticks (make sure you follow motherboard directions on which slot a second stick should be in).

Thanks. When I first booted, i was trying to install my OS from a flash drive. I since read that I need a 64 bit OS to access more than 4 gb of RAM (which I have). maybe now that windows is installed I can add the rest (once the computer's off of course!) and it will be able to read all four? I'll check each stick as well.

I don't see any damage on the slots, but ???
