Why is it not advisable to use an adapter that goes from the single 6+2 pin to 2 x 6-pin?
(150W = 75W + 75W)
Normally, if you psu doesnt have the necessary connectors, its not good enough to provide power to your hardware.
I think if you have enough Amps on 12V rail there shouldnt be a problem.
What is your psu and gpu?
