10 pins wire on Lenovo PSU to 8 pins CPU connector

Hi, will it work if I will put 10 pins CPU into 8 pins CPU on a motherboard? 2 pins just "flying" in this case, is it ok or I should look for another PSU?

2 4-pin connectors can work for an 8-pin plug.

Basically what i'm saying is that as long as the shapes of each pin match up and can make a connection, it's perfectly fine. If you have any loose cables swinging around, i suggest getting some small wireties and hooking them somewhere safe, like inside an empty drive bay.
