$100 Audio Setup vs $200 Audio Setup?

Is there a noticeable difference between a $100 Headset/Mic and a $200 Headset/Mic? I am saying this because I would like to save $100 for a new PC in a few years unless there is a major difference in quality. Also, suggestions for Headsets/Mics would be appreciated, also would I need a DAC or AMP?

The real question is...are you an audiophile? If you’re ok with mobo integrated audio, you’re probably not an audiophile. So if you’re not an audiophile..just take the cheaper one...

Update: Decided to go with the HyperX cloud cores, and they have been working well.
