Question 100 average FPS for CS:GO with a GTX 1050, i7

Hello, I was just wondering if it was normal to have an average of 100fps on CS:GO and around 60 fps for Dota 2 (both games lowest settings) with a GTX 1050 and a i7 7700k.

I'm using the ASUS FX553VD

• GTX 1050
• I7 7700k
• 12 GB ram

I wonder if the GPU usage is splitting or getting hindered by the fact that laptops usually use the Integrated Graphics (Intel) and I changed the Nvidia Control Panel settings to use the High-Processing GPU or the GTX but it still feels like it's underperforming imo.

Any thoughts?

I have no idea with computer stuff so I would appreciate some help such as optimizations or just settings to boost my laptop )

Well i have a GTX 1050 2gb (desktop) it is a pretty entry level gpu and will limit a modern I7 or even a modern I3.
What resolution are you at? For maximum framerate, make sure vsync is not enabled in dota 2, as that will limit your fps to 60.

I see, I thought a 1050 was a high performance GPU but I guess it is a bit outdated. Well for CS:GO I use 1280x800 and for Dota 2 I use my native resolution 1680 x1050
V-sync is off aswell.

EDIT: I just wanna say that I didn't overclock anything yet.

I'm currently running CS:GO and I'm using MSI Afterburner if that's okay? It says here
GPU temp = 66 Celcius
GPU usage = 34%

CPU temp = 82 Celcius
CPU usage = 63%

I hope that's what u were looking for, thanks for the quick replies though it's nice to talk to someone that could possibly help or give some info
