What can I do to decrease CPU usage in this game? Also, it's burning up my processor as well.
I have:
i7 4790K 4.4
GTX 1070 Ti
24GB ram
ASrock Z97x killer motherboard

Solution

95C is not good at all. Something is wrong with your CPU cooler.

Press the tile button in the game (this one ~,left from your (number) 1 key) and type in GameTime.MaxVariableFPS 60.
Instead of 60 you van use whatever number you like, whatever FPS is enough for you.
Try and combine this with nvidia control panel, vsync option = fast sync.

You can also make this permanent.
Go to BF1 Dir (Right-Click on BF1 Shortcut --> Click "Properties"--> Click "Open File Location")
Right-Click --> New Text Document --> Rename --> name it exactly "user.cfg" and hit Yes if you get a prompt.
Then you can open it and add the command.

I currently have a cfg file in there with these commands:
gametime.maxvariablefps 120
RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 2

I'm not sure what other commands may help.

I have a Corsair H100i GTX with a 4790K at 4.4GHz hitting about 95 degrees. Norton is the only thing that runs aggressively on my computer in the background, but it doesn't run 24/7. I can't force quit it either. Might also be noting that my radiator fan speeds are not increasing as my CPU temp rises... I looked around my BIOS to change that and I did, but it's not doing anything.

Pretty sure it's wack. I don't know how it's not working correctly.

You have it configured to give you 120FPS,as I said use a lower number to get lower CPU usage (and lower FPS)

Can confirm pump is dead. Tried to run it different fan headers, looked for RPM and nothing.

That sucks. But at least you know what your problem is, or at least where to start fixing it. That's why I didn't want a liquid AiO. Kinda hard for an air cooler to go dead.

Update: I installed an NZXT Kraken X52 and temps are much better now.
