100 degrees gtx 260 asus g51 vx rx 05

My gpu hitting over 100 degrees (gtx 260m asus g51 vx rx 05 laptop) minutes after i start gaming . The fps drops drastically and game stutters which is really annoying. I tried changing thermal paste, still no good. Please help .

I play Hawx , splinter cell conviction which used to have no problems at all. When I start the game it runs smooth . After couple of minutes, the lap overheats and hits around 100 degree celcius(not fahrenheit) and then fps drops and game stutters.

Have you tried to clean your laptop?
The fan, heatsink, etc... Dust can be a big problem, even it's just a little.

In that case, yeah clean your laptop. This is always a huge problem. Make sure to clean out the air vents as well! People don't pay much attention and then still have heating problems. With those games you should be fine. Even games Like Crysis 2 on a lower resolution could do you well. Happy gaming!
