After getting blue screen on my windows 8.1 desktop due to corrupted ram i'v started to get 100% disk spikes consistently. My disk usage is capped at 100% making my pc sluggish and slow. I believe my HDD may have been corrupted when getting blue screen but cant be sure. The main disk consuming application is Windows Problem Reporting which can sometimes appear in multiple processes at a time in the background. Next is system, which though not as urgent as WPR, still consumes around 20-30% of disk usage. I'v tried disabling Superfetch, Windows search and Background Intelligence Service and though it has slightly solved the system usage, it hasnt changed WPR. I have also tried to run a sfc /scannow on admin CMD but it only only gives me the following: "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation" this is what leads me to think something is wrong with my HDD. I'd really appreciate an answer since my pc is running extremely slow and will often crash for 1-5 minutes (cant move mouse or type until everything happens at a time when it unfreezes). Thank you very much
