Hi everyone,
Having a little bit of a nightmare with my new PC build - essentially I've upgraded the processor, motherboard, ram and introduced an SSD for the operating system to run off of, but now my old HDD with all my files consistently runs at 100% when I open programs, or launch games (really whenever I try load anything) which has caused crashes and complete system locks.
I know there's dozens of potential solutions for this all over the place (which I've tried implementing I can reassure you), but can't seem to do anything to resolve this.
I've been troubleshooting it for close to 9 hours now and am officially calling it a day, but thought I'd just try here as well in case there's any potential additional solutions.
Honestly appreciate absolutely any suggestions. Cheers
