I noticed in task manager that my disk usage was unusually high. I tried to lower it using all the things on the interenet like stopping superfetch and windows search but it wont budge from 100%. What should i do?
One thing that you did not mention testing was health of the disk itself.
You could try running crystaldisk info http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/index-e.html
and looking at results. (or use something else to read the SMART info from disk.
Other thing might be that there are just errors on the disk, running chkdsk /r on it might help on that.

Post screenshot from Resource Monitor (Disk tab, Disk Activity section, ordered by column Total, with file names visible).
That will give you info, which process is reading/writing which files.
