Guys, I wanted to build a pc for my brother but it should be under 100$ I know it sounds ridiculous but the use of pc is just to learn coding languages c++ java etc.

I am getting a second hand pc for this price (2gb ram dual core 500gb hdd) but I think buying a old pc is just too risky. If there is no choice I'll buy this one.

Thank you in advance.

Hehe, just said the same thing! :)
Newegg is a great place for used stuff if you don't want to go through craigslist.
I found a slightly better deal for $15 cheaper which includes Windows 10 64 bit, a HD 3470 graphics card, a higher clocked dual core CPU (3GHz) and an optical drive! ^.^
Only negative is that its one of those chunky lenovo brick cases...

there is no other choice for this kind of money you will need to buy a 2nd hand system.

I doubt you will be able to build a new PC for a hundred dollars, used may be your only option. I wouldn't be too worried just buy from a trusted seller who will let you return it if its a dud, I have bought many a used desktop/laptop and never had much in the way of issues but I verify whoever im buying it from is not a scumbag.

Here is an example of what you can expect, and note this is without OS, and with mail in rebate discounts.

If you are fine with buying refurbs and used parts, Newegg is great.
This is probably the best deal I could find, note that it is a small form factor, so changing out components could be tricky, although I doubt that will ever be an economically viable option anyway given the aging components.
This build has a core 2 duo, Windows 10 64 bit surprisingly, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, a Radeon HD 3470, an optical drive (DVD bay), and a 250GB HDD.

Your first choice and the one i've selected are very similar, i'd say the big downside is that the storage will become near unusable on that one you've chosen after a bit of use due to the sheer size of Windows 10 Pro and Microsoft Office (trial). It only has a 160GB HDD, and given that a portion of that will be unusable anyway, could be a poor investment. When looking for builds look for at least 250GB of storage for basic workstation PCs, just a tip! :)

Strange that the only difference seems to be DDR3 memory, yet it ends up costing $15 more than the similar one i've linked, shame, would have been a nice boost. 🙁
