Hi everyone i'm looking for a gaming workstation build. I will use this build for gaming (such as, CS:GO, Dirt 3, Grid Autosport, etc.) and I will be using this also for architectural rendering with programs such as Autocad, 3ds Max, etc.
I currently have this in pcpartpicker:
PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sfFfD3
Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sfFfD3/by_merchant/
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($324.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($137.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($79.98 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($74.00 @ Adorama)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB DirectCU II Video Card ($239.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Gigabyte GZ-G1SGS ATX Mid Tower Case ($65.15 @ Mwave)
Power Supply: Thermaltake TR2 600W ATX Power Supply ($19.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer ($14.99 @ Newegg)
Sound Card: Asus Xonar DGX 24-bit 96 KHz Sound Card ($27.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $1070.02.
Since I will be using this for Architectural Rendering too, It's better to have the i7 because of hyper threading.
This will be my first build but I do know a little about computers
Budget doesn't include peripherals like monitors and keyboards but feel free to
suggest them
Thanks in advance
