Is there anywhere i can shave off a few bucks and still keep the performance?
I have thought about buying 1x 560ti and upgrading to SLI later, but i fear it will be very weak with only 1.

Get this psu which is almost $100 cheaper: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151100
I'd also change the motherdoard to this it's a full size board and i don't think the one you picked allows sli :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157265

Also one GTX 560ti is pretty quick. I have a GTX 470 and have no issues playing games at 1080p. If you're still tight on cash after those changes buy one gpu first and if you're not happy it takes very little effort to add the other one later.

Without studying every detail, it sounds like you have the answer. Buy one card now, and a second card sometime down the line. As for 'very weak' performance from one 560ti, your expectations exceed mine.

Wish i could, but Newegg.com only ships to the US. (I live in Norway)

Does Newegg.com ship internationally?
Newegg.com does not currently ship internationally; we only deliver to locations within the United States and to Puerto Rico

As you can see, i chose the GTX 570, and i save about 180bucks. and rather get a second one later for SLI 570s

How does that sound? compared to SLI 560ti's

But i'm still at $1547 which is VERY pricey compared to some other builds on here (with same specs)

NewEgg.com and Amazon do not ship to Norway, and i feel EBay is rather risky.

What would be your advice here?

Drop the Noctua, waste of money.
Get either the Hyper 212+ or the Hyper 612 OR the Hyper 212 Evo, all are better if not close to the Noctua's performance for much less.

As for Boards, get the Asrock Extreme3 Gen3 Z68 or the GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 both would be better for the money and give you a larger form factor.

Drop the Dominators, waste of money and virtually no performance benefit. Get the G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB DDR3 1600, the cheapest ones.

Get the Antec HCG750 or the Lepa 850 or the OCZ ZS 750 all would be enough power and save you money.

Intresting.

What i found:
Heatsink: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus OR Cooler Master Hyper 612S
(These are the only ones available, Hyper 212 being very cheap at $60 . and Hyper 612S costing $90)

Motherboard: The Asrock is no where to be found (that ships to Norway) and for the GIGABYTE I only found a
Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3, Socket-1155
mATX, Z68, DDR3, 3xPCIe(2.0)x16, CFX&SLI, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0, VGA, DVI, HDMI

which has:
1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 ( x16-modus )
1 x PCI Express x16 ( x8-modus )
1 x PCI Express x16 ( x4-modus )
1 x PCI Express x1

(Bad for SLI if I am right).

RAM: The G.Skill Ripjaws are rare here, (I can get them from a dodgy site at the same price as the Dominators) Is it really that much difference?

PSU: I can get the ANTEC HCG for a bit cheaper than the 1000W i had picked out. ($50 cheaper) from the same dodgy site.
Again, is it that much better?

(I know living in Norway sucks :) we cant get all the gadgets)

I just want to point out, i am not trying to find faults. I HIGHLY appreciate you guys helping me, but the ones you talk about are really rare here.

Amazon / NewEgg do not ship to Norway.

no, x8/x8 will be fine for sli, it's pretty much the standard. you honestly don't need 1000w for 2 gtx 560 ti, you could probably get away with 750w, but 850w to be safe. personally, avoiding dodgy sites is probably a good choice, especially for the psu, as a bad one can fry all of your other components.

Update: I did find a

ASRock P67 Extreme6, socket 1155
Sandy Bridge, ATX, DDR3, 3xPCI-E x16, SATA3 6Gbps, USB3, FireWire 400, UEFI
javascript: validform(this);
With 8x8 SLI
But its a bit more expensive than the ASUS.

yes a 8x8 is what I am looking for

Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3, Socket-1155
mATX, Z68, DDR3, 3xPCIe(2.0)x16, CFX&SLI, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0, VGA, DVI, HDMI
has:
1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 ( x16-modus )
1 x PCI Express x16 ( x8-modus )
1 x PCI Express x16 ( x4-modus )
1 x PCI Express x1

(1x8 and 1x4)
Which is not 8x8 If i am correct.
(I am new to this)

And as for the Power supply,

The cheapest I can find is: ¨

Corsair GS 800W PSU $167
or
Corsair TX V2 850W PSU $168
And what i had:
Fractal Design Newton R2 1000W $216

Im guessing the TX V2 is the best choice?

i'd say yes, cause it never hurts to have 50 extra watts...
and my understanding was the the mobo had x16, x8, and x4. so you would just sli/cfx in the x16 and x8 slots
unless i was interpreting something incorrectly?
edit: i did misinterpret something. theres only 1 pci express 2.0, you would need 2 2.0 slots

The TX would be the best for the money. I'd have to say that going with the Hyper 212+ or the Hyper 612 is good. Especially since it is cheaper, Also go with the D2H if it is cheaper. It'll perform roughly the same but save money.

You know more about this than me. If the GTX 560ti has an Express 2.0 port (and a normal express)
then i guess you are right. because at the moment what i see is:
1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 ( x16-modus )
1 x PCI Express x16 ( x8-modus )
1 x PCI Express x16 ( x4-modus )
1 x PCI Express x1

____________________________________________________________________________________________
Also, i put together what i could find on the "Dodgy" site, (had some mixed reviews online)
and i got this: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/163/pc3s.jpg/

Costing me $1408 Included shipping.
($270 less than before) but "dodgy"
Please post thoughts

mobo seems good, as is everything else
except your graphics card...I can't tell from the picture if it's a gtx 560 ti or just gtx 560
if it's just gtx 560, you might as well get gtx 460 and save some money. but it would be worthwhile to get 2 gtx 560 ti.

My fault. I did mean to get the Ti

And on this site, i can get the following PSU's (cheapest):

850W: ANTEC 850W CP-850 ATX V2.3/EPS $170
900W: MAXCUBE Arsenal 900W ATX Switching $185
1KW: CHIEFTEC A-135 Series 1000W PSU ATX $201

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/853/pc4g.jpg/
Which brings me to a new total of: $1681 (Included shipping)

ASRock P67 Extreme6, socket 1155 Sandy Bridge, ATX, DDR3, 3xPCI-E x16, SATA3 6Gbps, USB3, FireWire 400, UEFI Bios (P67-EXTREME6-)

Is the one i have picked at the moment.
They have 9 in total:

http://www.multicom.no/SearchResult.aspx?q=fd:c_101335;kw:Asrock

The site is in norwegian, but the mobo should be written in english. (click them for more info about them)

So now i got two results:
Trusted site: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/851/pc6a.jpg/
total of: $1668 (Included shipping)

Dodgy site: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/853/pc4g.jpg/
Total of $1681 (included shipping)

Which one would you pick?

how much would the shipping be for the trusted site? I personally think it's the better choice, unless you have like $400 shipping or something outrageous like that...

Uploaded the wrong images
The new prices are both including shipping
Shipping only:
Trusted site is: $68
Dodgy site: $50

So now the prices are almost identical. but the components are different. so take a look, and see what would be the best choice

the trusted site being cheaper, but different ram, different PSU, different heatsink and Mobo
