You can downgrade to i5 and 2x4gb memory, then a second asus monior would fit in budget.

This would be a nice alternative to jinayhvora's build.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1gaRB

PROS:
Faster, more overclockable CPU

You can add another graphics card in the future.

SSD - faster loading times, more responsive system, with the combination of Core i7 you will dramaticly reduce FPS loss when recording (may even take it to 0)

Graphics card, when overclocked provides equal or better performance. http://hardocp.com/article/2013/06/06/msi_n770_lightning_overclocking_review/3
Also much better triple monitor /4K monitor gaming performance

The case is made primarily of metal and has high air flow.

CONS:

Does not include monitors.
More expensive if you add monitors
Not as power efficient
Not as good looking on the inside

Can't agree with a 2013 purchase of a 2nd gen i7 or a 7950 in a $1,500 budget. Jinayhvora definitely posted a nice build.

Can downgrade the cooler if you don't think you'll be overclocking too heavily, the PSU is overkill for a single card but allows for future additions. CPU/Mobo are on an $80 off combo special currently.
