Hey guys,

I am looking to make an gaming PC for $1000 that can play the following games:

  • Rainbow Six Siege
    Rocket League
    CSGO
    Fortnite
    PUBG

I'm ok with it going about $100 over budget but I would rather not, I have a 1080p 1ms monitor but no keyboard and mouse.

Thanks!

Ah, Austrailian dollars... I'll be honest, when I saw Aud I kind of ignored it as I didn't think about what it actually meant...

I know in USD, the 8600 is only about $200, and the 1070 is about 500. 300 for the remaining parts is more than enough. that was my thought process... So, if that translates too too much in AUD, replace the 1070 with either a 1060 or 1050ti. both are still great cards.
Core i5 8600 (if you want overclocking, the k version, otherwise, save some money, and grab the non k version)
Z270 Mobo - you can find refurbs for around 80, or brand new around $100.
8GB DDR4 memory is enough, but if you have some extra money, 16GB never hurts to have.
600W PSU, 750W is around the same price though, so it wouldn't hurt to go that route.
GTX 1070 or 1070ti if you can find a good deal on one. Prices are jacked right now sadly.

if you need a case, that's really personal preference. just get one that fits the Mobo and you're fine. I love my nzxt s340 elite case personally.

all of these combined will be between 900 and 1000. brand isn't a huge issue as most brands offer the same prices.
