Hey im looking to build a new gaming pc i usually play esports games like cod mw2 csgo and other stuff like that. Im looking for 144+ frames to coincide well with my 144hz monitor. What i currently have from my pre built is an intel i7 8700k. I was looking into buying these to go with just the cpu i have left over:

Gpu: rtx 3060ti
Motherboard: Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon AC
RAM - 16 GB Trident 2 DDR4 3200
PSU - Evga SuperNOVA 750GT 750W
SSD - Samsung 850 Evo
Cpu cooler - Cooler Master Masterair Maker 8

Now I have not idea if these parts all work with each other and I am just looking for input for cheaper options to replace these things. Im trying to stay under 1000$ and hopefully with having a cpu already, this can be enough to get mid end performance. I appreciate any help! Also any tips on pc building is appreciated.

It is not clear to me if the parts listed are what you have, or are what you propose.

Your games are cpu centric, particularly needing a fast single thread processor.
Run the cpu-Z bench on the 8700K, you should get a score like 468:

A more modern i3-12100 sells for $120 or so and scores 659. You can go up from there.

With a $1000 budget, I think a $250 I5-13500 processor, a B760 ddr4 motherboard would be a good start well under your budget.
